RTG Caribbean Stud Poker
RTG's version of Caribbean Poker can closely resemble standard
Caribbean Stud Poker. However, because RTG allows it's licensees
to customize their casino software, it's possible that individual
RTG casinos offer higher than average pay tables on the Call bet
and/or the progressive Side bet. In this section we will give you
some general information about RTG Caribbean Stud, especially how
it compares to "standard" Caribbean Stud Poker, and how
it can be customized.

Real Time Gaming offers it's casinos a choice between three different
pay tables. The first is the same as a standard Caribbean Stud Poker
pay table, and thus has the same 5.22% house edge. The second has
a higher than standard payout on the Royal Flush, and thus a lower
than standard house edge, i.e. 5.207489892%. The third table is
the most generous one, and results in a house edge of 4.975367168%.

Some RTG casinos offer a progressive jackpot for Caribbean Stud
Poker. Not all RTG casinos though, because this is an optional feature
RTG offers to it's licensees. If a RTG casino offers the progressive
Caribbean Stud Poker jackpot, the payout's on the 4 of a kind, full
house and the flush, can be customized. No matter what, the house
edge on the progressive side bet will always be very high if the
jackpot isn't high enough. |
